Sent to my phone by a multitude of twitter alerts. I’m extremely grateful to be a committed fan of this incredible person. Such a controversial, powerful, and influential woman had so many options to either address the issue, ignore the issue, or encourage the issue further, and I’m so proud that she chose 1) to address it, and 2) to protect her fans through peaceful measures. I don’t think there could have been more perfect of a response to the problem and I pray that her St. Louis fans do as she asks and not respond to the hate with more hatred.  Lady Gaga: a channeler of change, an agent of the arts, a girl of and from God, a protector of peace, a hero in my heart :)
